"My husband and I had a date night here and had a wonderful meal!!! He ordered the Sangamo special which was the General Tao’s and it was phenomenal!!! I actually regretted not ordering it as well! Food was amazing, drinks were plentiful and the service was amazing! I highly recommend having a meal there soon!!"

"I’m a senior citizen and have visited and eaten in a lot of different restaurants during my lifetime! Sangamo is the best there is. Great food, GREAT service and GREAT customer service. There goal is to please everyone at every turn. Lots of carry out food comes out of the kitchen along with lots of food to serve in house diners. It is absolutely amazing to watch the kitchen work there magic and get food served. I’ve tried about everything on the menu - and everything is very tasty! Kudo’s to all the Sangamo staff! Great job - we will always return - several times a week!"

Lots of carry outs to add to their load. The front manager/bar tender is SO awesome! He pitches in and does what's needed to make things run! Every single employee whether it's the servers or kitchen staff absolutely gives it their all. If someone is disappointed about service etc it's not because of lack of trying! PS-they make the best Long Islands!!!"

"Fabulous bar/grill. The food was amazing. I had the Cuban sandwich which was delicious and came with a ton of fries. My husband had the brisket ponyshoe and he said it tasted fantastic. He also had the Sangamo brewing stout and said it was a very good stout. The big room has a TON of old beer signs, bottles, and beer advertising. Its an impressive collection. If you are near Chatham, make sure you stop here."
